Dedication Ceremony – August 5, 2022

Among friends and community, Robert Redford, his family, and the new owners of Sundance Mountain Resort gathered to celebrate their commitment to preserving 316 acres of land forever. The Redford Family Elk Meadows Preserve, part of the Sundance Mountain Resort, is land filled with aspen trees, streams, wetlands, and critical habitats for native and plant species. The Preserve also provides recreational opportunities for hiking, cross-country skiing, and equestrian activities.

From Jaime Redford

“I think back on 50 years spent in Elk Meadows - so many images and memories come to mind. To walk those meadows is to enter a place of peace and sanctuary. It brings me great pleasure, along with a sense of pride to know my family has been able to protect Elk Meadows, as a critical habitat for native animal and plant species, and for all of those who value it today and for many generations to come.”

Your gift today protects our future here on the southeast slope of Mt. Timpanogos.
